Moycullen GAA Club’s U10 football team recently had an enjoyable experience at the U10 blitz held at Maynooth GAA Club on Saturday, 22nd April. The event saw 220 boys from all over Ireland participating in what was a day to remember, according to Maynooth GAA Club’s report.
The Moycullen team, consisting of 31 boys, impressed Maynooth GAA Club with their spirit and commitment on the day. The blitz was held in Maynooth GAA Club in the town, but the club has also offered an open invitation to any Moycullen team who would like to play them on their 5 additional pitches out the road.
Maynooth GAA Club extended their gratitude to their sponsors Secto and everyone who bought tickets for their raffle, which helped make the day possible. The event saw six teams participate, namely Fossa, St. Finbarrs, Moycullen, Slaughtneil, St. Vincent’s, and Celbridge.
Despite the rain, the young players had a great time, and all the games were played in a fantastic spirit. Maynooth GAA Club thanked everyone who made the event possible, including the coaches, parents, club members, officials, and U20 players, who all contributed to the smooth running of the day.
Finally, Maynooth GAA Club expressed their pride in their own young players, who conducted themselves well both on and off the field. Moycullen GAA Club is thrilled to hear such positive feedback and looks forward to participating in future events with Maynooth GAA Club.
